Autism: It’s not easy

We’re going on an adventure with a big gang. My son is gung-ho to go. It’s just that he doesn’t do crowds very well.

My six-year-old son has autism and limited fine motor skills. Handwriting isn’t easy for him. But he’s not going to let that stop him.

My son has autism. But that’s not stopping him from anything, even if some things come harder to him. Surfing? Let’s go. Let’s catch another wave.

I must be rich, a celebrity, a man to meet. That’s what the gossip mothers at school thought until they met my autistic son and turned their backs.

Why wear one shirt when you can wear two or even three? My autistic son has his quirks and some are very useful.
